3 out of 5 Looks great, but disappointing

The decoys look amazing!! By far one of the best looking floaters I have used. But the process it took to put the decoys together was awful!!!! After using a torch and brute strength I was able to put together the 2 dozen I ordered. Unfortunately six of them are now glued together because the plastic got destroyed that was supposed to hold the decoy together. I’m sure they will still work just was hoping for a better product.

By far the best floaters I’ve used, they ride the waves and current, and keep those big Canada’s committed to the water spread,

These are some tough decoys!!!! When I got them they had a few skuffs but geese won’t see them. They got dragged on rocks grass, thrown in the back of the truck and thrown on rocks and a sled, highly recommend these dekes!!!!!

I like these decoys, and they work exceptionally well. The local resident geese commit to them fairly well. However, after 2 seasons I have some decoys starting to leak through the weighted keels. Therefore, I had to pull the keel cap to reseal the keel with calking. Furthermore, I had to drill a hole in the decoy to drain the water, and calk that as well. So far 2 out of the 12 needed repaired. In addition, I would like to know if I could purchase some of the surface feeder styled heads depicted in the photo above. In my opinion, adding those heads would help give a more subtle approach compared to more of an alert pose. Just my .02! In addition, the paint wears easier than some other decoys I have used.

Eric I believe if you call the 800 number you can order the surface feeder heads direct from DOA.

4 out of 5 Great Looking Decoy

I have 4 doz floaters that I have purchased over the years. I hunt with guys that use other brands and these DOA stand out. They move well with very little wind. Def recommend looking for some DOA floaters if you are in the market for Goose floaters. Would recommend to use slotted bags as I have had some issues with paint (hence the 4 stars). I am very hard on my gear and it is expected. If the geese can see a few marks from weights or banging them together then I hope steel is flying. Great decoy and happy I made the decision to buy DOA. I have since added 2 doz Full bodies, 1 doz sleeper shells, 500 snow socks, 1 dozen FFD from Cabelas, 3 doz rogue series duck floaters and 2 doz DOA rogers exclusives. Needless to say this is my brand of choice moving forward. Paint scheme and attention to detail to make the realist looking decoy possible. Would give 5 stars if not for some paint durability issues and head installation process.

The DOA goose floaters are the most life like floaters out there because they sit so low in the water just like a real goose. Only problem is when it is windy they get a bunch of ice build up on them.
